The World On arirang

Opened 86 years, Cinema Gwangju is the only single-screen theater in Gwangju that still is under operation despite all other old theaters disappeared over the introduction of multiplex theaters. Jeong Hong-joo is a chief projectionist who worked at the theater for 40 years. He greets the customers, sells tickets, and is in charge of other tasks as well. We meet Mr. Jeong to hear his story about Cinema Gwangju and find out his love for the theater.
