Lanterns that light up darkness
The lighting of the lanterns signifies the brightening of the path of
those suffering and wandering through a world full of anguish and ignorance.
When darkness falls, all hope disappears.
Someone made a lantern to light up the dark.
In this way, for thousands of years, people have hung up lanterns and wished for hope in the midst of darkness.
They hoped that their earnest wishes would reach the heavens.
And so, lanterns have existed for a thousand years, bringing light to the dark in a new way every year. |
