As a representative channel of Korea, endeavoring efforts will be made to have Arirang be loved worldwide.
14 years have passed since the Korea International Broadcasting Foundation, Arirang, was established and it has been broadcasting to showcase the true Korea throughout the world. Since its launch, Arirang Broadcasting has taken innumerable steps to reach closer to the hearts of viewers worldwide, in the hopes to widespread the flourishing culture and lifestyles of Korea.
Through the years, our responsibilities as a channel that delivers the essence of Korea have grown immensely with a loyal viewership base. The beauty of Korea has been shared through various programs and Arirang TV will strive to become a precious cultural asset by contributing to bridging global communities to Korea.
There’s a term called the "Mother Teresa Effect." It describes how merely watching an act of altruism or simply hearing about it can have a great effect on others. Like this marvelous effect, my wish is for viewers around the world to think of our beautiful nation when hearing "Arirang TV."
