Time now for an in-depth look at the market news this afternoon.
And for that, I'm joined on the line by Mr. Daniel Yoo, Global Strategist at Yuanta Securities.

Let's start with the minutes from the Federal Reserve's meeting last month. They show support for an interest rate hike this month of 50 or 75 basis points. That seems to be the expectation in the market, maybe more on the high side. Data show the U.S. job market is still tight. Bigger rate hikes, some think, will lead to a recession. What do you make of the FOMC minutes?

Stocks on Wall Street were actually higher Wednesday. Moderate increases across the three main indices of about a quarter to a third of a percent. The jobs report taken as a sign for a little optimism. What's the story in the global equity markets?

Korean stocks led the gains in Asia with a solid rise for Samsung affiliates. Bioscience and chipmakers doing well, and foreign investors buying today. The KOSPI back above 23-hundred. Tell us about the domestic market.
