Six F-35As arrived in South Korea for joint training.
It's the first time in 5 years the American stealth fighters arrived here.
According to Seoul's defense ministry, the drills run for 10 days through next Thursday, and will demonstrate the allies' strengthened deterrence.
USFK announced the F-35s will fly with several different kinds of South Korean planes, including Seoul's own F-35s.
These flights on and around the Peninsula are for "familiarization and routine training" that will enhance operational capabilities.
