N. Korea so far unresponsive to message on virus aid: S. Korea Updated: 2022-05-17 08:02:42 KST

North Korea apparently still hasn't responded to Seoul which offered medical aid to help Pyeongyang in its fight against COVID-19.
South Korea reached out at 11 am Monday Unification minister Kwon Young-se reportedly attempted to send a message to his counterpart in the North, Kim Yong-chul.
The Ministry is seeking to propose working-level talks about providing vaccines, medication, masks and test kits.
It also wants to share its experience and expertise in dealing with the virus.
As he took office, Kwon stressed the importance of achieving the North's denuclearization and creating room for dialogue.
