South Korea and Tajikistan have exchanged ideas on developing bilateral relations ahead of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the countries.
Seoul's foreign minister Chung Eui-yong held talks with Tajik President ( )Emomali Rahmon on Monday in Tajikistan, where Chung will attend the 14th Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum.
Chung voiced hope for South Korea and Central Asia to strengthen cooperation in economy, health and international affairs.
Calling Korea a cooperative and trustworthy nation, the Tajik President expressed interest in the sharing of development experience by Korea, as well as revitalizing communication channels between the countries in energy, agriculture, tourism and chemistry.
