One million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine that South Korea provided to Iran have arrived in Tehran.
The consignment, that arrived on Wednesday, was delivered to help Iran tackle its vaccine shortage.
Upon the arrival, Korean embassy officials held a banner reading "From South Korea."
A senior offical at Iran's Health Ministry said the Iranian people appreciated South Korea providing the vaccines.
He added the two countries are close and that they hope to see more cooperation in the future.
