The Coast Guard is searching for the missing crew of a capsized fishing boat in waters northeast of Dokdo.
Of the nine crew members, two were rescued, one was found dead and six others remain unaccounted for.
The Coast Guard believes that the accident was caused by adverse weather.
One of the rescued crewmen said that the ship was hit by high waves on Tuesday evening.
A total of 14 divers have been dispatched to search for survivors inside the fishing boat and several patrol ships and aircraft have been mobilized to assist the mission.
