North Korea has taken delivery of thousands of face masks and COVID-19 test kits.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies says 4-thousand masks and 10-thousand test kits arrived last week and protective suits and gene amplification testers are en route.
The masks and test kits are currently going through quarantine checks.
They will then be distributed by the Red Cross Society of North Korea.
The UN gave the supplies an exemption from sanctions in February.
The I-F-RC say that if the virus spreads in North Korea, millions of people in need of humanitarian aid could be in danger.
