Wall Street closed mostly lower on Monday, with the Dow posting a modest gain after rising COVID-19 cases forced California's governor to order businesses across the state to close yet again.
The Dow Jones closed at 26-thousand 85.
The S&P 500 was down by a percent to 31-55.
The tech heavy NASDAQ shed over 2-percent to close at 10,390.
And the upcoming OPEC plus meeting had oil investors worried,,.. with Brent crude falling over 2-percent to 42-dollars 21-cents.
WTI was down over 2-and-a-half percent at just under 40-dollars a barrel.
