Yet another South Korean football player is headed to the German league.
Steven Choi joins us with the details. Hello
Hey guys, we recently talked about female footballer Ji So-yeon heading to England, and today it's Ryu Seung-woo who got the call from Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen, to play alongside Son Heung-min.
Ryu's current team, the K-League's Jeju United, agreed on Friday to a one-year transfer deal proposed by Leverkusen.
Ryu had just joined Jeju on Tuesday before the deal pulled through, and he'll arrive in Germany on Monday.
Jeju was reluctant to let him go, but acknowledged that he's likely to improve drastically in Leverkusen, especially with Son there to help him adjust.
