U.S. will maintain sanctions until N. Korea changes behavior: State Dept. Updated: 2022-08-18 13:55:00 KST

The U.S State Department says the United States will continue to maintain strong sanctions on North Korea until the regime changes its behavior and engages in dialogue.
This according to department spokesperson Ned Price, who was responding on Wednesday to a question about the firing of two cruise missiles by North Korea earlier in the day, marking the regime's 19th show of force this year and its first since June.
Price also reaffirmed Washington's commitment to the defense of South Korea and its other regional allies.
He added the U.S. will make sure Pyeongyang is held accountable for its provocations.
