North Korea could respond with stern measures depending on the scale and intensity of the upcoming Seoul-Washington combined drills.
That's according to the Choson Sinbo.
The Japan-based newspaper, published in both Korean and Japanese, reported on Saturday that such provocative actions by the two sides could lead to a nuclear war.
Highlighting that the confrontational atmosphere has only been intensifying as of late, the regime could respond with equally extreme measures.
South Korea and the U.S. are set to hold joint military exercises from August 22nd to September 1st.
Pyeongyang has been lashing out with aggressive rhetoric since the Yoon and Biden administrations take a different approach when dealing with the regime.
The hermit kingdom's reaction has always been extreme when it comes to combined military drills.
