North Korean leader Kim Jong-un made his first public appearance in nearly 3-weeks on Wednesday to mark the 69th anniversary of the Korean War armistice dubbed "Victory Day" in the North.
According to the state-run Korean Central News Agency Thursday, Kim visited the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery in Pyeongyang to pay tribute to soldiers killed during the war.
The report also said Kim met veterans at the Monument to the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War.
The appearance was the first time the leader had been seen in 19 days since a photo session with ruling party officials earlier this month.
