North Korea appears to have fired several shots toward the West Sea on Sunday.
The latest artillery testing comes just days after the deployment of SIX U.S. F-35 A fighter jets to South Korea for joint training.
According to Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff this past Sunday it had detected trails that suggested projectiles had been fired from multiple rocket launchers for 16 minutes from around 6:20 P.M.
North Korea reportedly fired two shots according to an informed source.
South Korea's National Security Office for its part said it was closely monitoring the situation.
