Nationwide monsoon showers tomorrow...heatwave continues for parts of the south Updated: 2022-07-06 17:03:37 KST

Another round of monsoon rain is in the forecast for tomorrow. This will help ease off the prolonged heatwave for most parts of the country. However, that excludes parts of the south, where only minor showers are expected. While readings will keep dropping for central regions, parts of the Gyeongsang-do provinces will see temperatures rise. Places like Daegu be scorching hot, with highs jumping to 34 degrees Celsius tomorrow.

As rainclouds will be coming in from the north of the Peninsula, showers will be heavily concentrated across central regions. Northern central regions will see the most rainfall, with up to 150 millimeters expected. The Seoul metropolitan area and the surrounding regions can expect up to 100 millimeters. Southern parts of the country will see relatively less rainfall, with 10 to 60 millimeters in the forecast.

Morning lows in Seoul and Jeju will start off at 27 degrees.

As for the daily highs, Seoul and Busan will get up to 31 degrees. Daegu and Gyeongju 34 degrees.

Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast for this weekend. For early next week, another monsoonal rainfront will enter the country.

That's all for now and here are the weather conditions around the world.
