'Danuri' will begin its journey to the U.S. launch site on Wednesday.
South Korea's first lunar orbiter will be taken to Incheon International Airport on Tuesday before being flown to Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station the following morning.
There, it will go through final checks ahead of the August 3rd launch date aboard a Space-X rocket.
The Korea Aerospace Research Institute said Danuri will enter the moon's orbit on December 16th to carry out a year-long mission, which will include searching for landing sites for future lunar missions.
