The number of daily new cases remains below 10-thousand while concerns linger that the spread of the virus is picking up speed again.
There were 8 more deaths reported, bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 24-thousand 5-hundred-55.
There are currently 56 patients who are severely ill.
