The FIRST of FOUR cube-shaped NANO-SATELLITES carried into space by South Korea's homegrown launch vehicle Nuri has been successfully EJECTED.
The mini-satellite was released from a performance verification satellite that reached orbit on June 21st.
The Ministry of Science and ICT says information from the cube satellite was received early Thursday following separation on Wednesday afternoon.
The ministry adds that the small satellite appeared to be spinning around and will need time to find a stable orbit.
The four cube satellites were developed by local universities for research purposes and are scheduled to be ejected every two days.
The first one satellite released was developed by Chosun university students.
