U.S. spy plane near S. Korean capital on Monday amid N. Korea nuclear test prep Updated: 2022-06-27 17:26:09 KST

With growing speculation that North Korea is about to do its first nuclear test in five years any time now, an American spy plane was seen Monday flying near the South Korean capital.
The flight-tracking website Flightradar24 says it was a U.S. Air Force's 'RC-135U Combat Sent.'
Lats Friday, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un ordered the regime's military to bolster the duties of its frontline units, an order seen as directed at South Korea.
The U.S. reconnaissance plane was also spotted several times about a month ago, when the the presidents of South Korea and the U.S. met in Seoul, but it has not been seen the past couple of weeks.
