The IMF slashed its U.S. growth forecast for 2022 to 2.9 percent.
A decrease of Point-8 percent since its most recent projection in April.
For 2023, the global organization cut the forecast to 1.7 percent and for 2024, to Point-8 percent.
This comes as the FED plans to implement rate-tightening plan to curb inflation.
According to IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, America would "narrowly" avoid a recession, adding there's a need to "recognize the uncertainty of the current situation."
