N. Korea's new COVID-19 cases stay below 30,000 for third day in row Updated: 2022-06-17 17:29:26 KST

North Korea's daily new COVID-19 cases stayed below 30-thousand for a third straight day.
According to the North's state-run Korean Central News Agency, around 23,160 cases of what the KCNA called a "fever" were confirmed from 6PM Wednesday to 6PM Thursday.
No new deaths were reported.
The total number of cases in the North now stands at over 4.5 million since late April.
Pyeongyang says that 99 percent of them have fully recovered.
