The United States has conveyed to China its concerns about a possible nuclear bomb test by North Korea.
According to U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan Thursday the concerns were addressed during a meeting in Luxembourg this week with China's top diplomat.
Asked whether the superpowers had reached a consensus on that matter Sullivan said they have to wait and see "how things play out".
Separately the U.S. State Department also on Thursday said North Korea remains unresponsive to U.S. calls for talks.
It also reaffirmed the Biden administration's commitment to diplomatically engage with the North without any preconditions.
