Russia has been reportedly making gains in Ukraine with the war's epicenter now in the key eastern city of Severodonetsk.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says battles in the city have been taking a "terrifying" human toll as the regional governor reportedly told him Russian forces have been using "highly destructive thermobaric rocket artillery."
With Russia tightening its grip, all bridges in the city used by the Ukrainian military to carry troops, arms and supplies have been destroyed.
A the situation remains difficult, Ukrainian officials warn the next few days could be critical.
