The World Health Organization has cast doubt over North Korea's claim that its COVID-19 situation is getting better.
WHO Executive Director for Health Emergencies, Dr. Mike Ryan, said on Wednesday that the situation there is, in fact, worsening.
The WHO says it has provided three rounds of vaccine aid to the North and is continuing to do so.
According to the North, the number of COVID-19 cases has been in the 100-thousands for the past three days, a huge drop from the nearly 400-thousand cases a day that the regime reported a few weeks ago.
South Korea has also said Pyeongyang's reporting appears to be aimed at boosting internal unity.
