Welcome back to the second half of New Day at Arirang.
South Korea, the United States and Japan are reportedly arranging three-way talks in Singapore next month on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue, an annual security forum.
According to Japan's Kyodo News, the talks are between the defense ministers of the three countries Lee Jong-sup of South Korea, Lloyd Austin of the U.S. and Nobuo Kishi of Japan.
The report says they will be discussing ways to deepen their cooperation in dealing with North Korea's recent provocations, including its ballistic missile launches.
The Shangri-La Dialogue is from June 10th through the 12th.
South Korea, according to the report, will likely also hold bilateral talks with the U.S. but not with Japan.
