President Yoon Suk-yeol is hosting a dinner meeting this evening at his office in Yongsan with National Assembly speaker Park Byeong-seug to thank him before his term ends on Sunday.
Park has led the National Assembly of South Korea for the past two years.
And as a gift to Park Yoon gave the Speaker a framed picture that was taken of him with Joe Biden during the U.S. President's recent visit to Seoul.
The meeting is largely seen as part of efforts by Yoon to increase interaction with the nation's legislative branch which is dominated by the main opposition, the Democratic Party of Korea, not his People Power Party.
