Later on this Tuesday evening President Yoon Suk-yeol will host a dinner for a group of National Assembly speakers whose terms are nearing an end.
The group will include Speaker Park Byeong-seug and Deputy Speakers Chung Jin-suk and Kim Sang-hee .
Senior secretaries including the presidential chief of staff Kim Dae-ki are also expected to join the meal.
President Yoon earlier sought to have dinner with leaders of the ruling and opposition parties but scheduling issues by the main opposition Democratic Party have hindered this proposed event.
