S. Korea reports 9,975 new COVID-19 infections on Monday Updated: 2022-05-23 09:03:22 KST

South Korea on Monday reported 9,9-hundred-75 new COVID-19 infections.
It's the first time in 1-hundred-18 days that the figure has dropped below ten thousand.
Compared to the previous day, the tally is down by more than 9-thousand.
The figure is a drop of more than 3-thousand from a week ago.
There were 22 related deaths.
Meanwhile starting Monday, those entering South Korea from abroad may submit a rapid antigen test result taken by a medical professionalwithin 24 hours of arrival.
Previously, only PCR test results taken within 48 hours of arrival were accepted.
