Citing Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Sweden has announced an end to its two centuries of neutrality and made it official that it'll seek NATO membership.
On Monday, just a day after its neighbor Finland announced the same decision, Swedish Prime Minister, Magdalena Andersson, told the country's citizens to brace for certain impacts as Sweden will be in a vulnerable position during the application process.
Russian President Vladimir Putin appears relatively unmoved so far saying the two Nordic countries' joining NATO poses no direct threat to Russia BUT if they host any military infrastructure for NATO, Moscow will respond.
