In Turin on Sunday, Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra were crowned winners at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest.
Sitting in fourth place following jury votes, the rap-folk band surged to the top of the leaderboard following the announcement of the results of the public vote.
Speaking at the first news conference after the win, the group's frontman said that the victory was important for Ukraine.
The band's song 'Stefania,' sung in Ukrainian, is a fusion of rap and traditional folk music.
It is also the third time that Ukraine has won the annual competition.
