Nine time Australian Open winner Novak Djokovic will fight his deportation from Australia at a court hearing on Monday, days after he was put into quarantine at a hotel in Melbourne.
On Sunday,.. the Australian government said it had not given the world number 1 an assurance that a medical exemption would be given without a COVID-19 vaccination.
However, Djokovic's legal team says he met the necessary requirements to enter the country, including an assessment from the Department of Home Affairs.
The case will be heard by the Federal Circuit and Family Court.
