Top 100 Korean companies see on-year jump in sales, net profit in 2020 despite pandemic Updated: 2021-12-02 18:13:08 KST

Despite COVID-19, major Korean companies saw their sales and profits go up last year.
According to the business magazine "The New Management," sales at Korea's top 100 companies in 2020 came to almost 1.5 quadrillion won, which is more than 1.2 trillion U.S. dollars.
That's an increase of more than 1.9 percent from the year before.
Their net profit jumped by nearly 7 percent on year to more than 47 trillion won, which is around 40 billion dollars.
