The cold has eased off temporarily, but fine dust levels are soaring again, including here in the capital.
Let's turn to our Lee Seung-min at the Weather Center.
Seung-min, what are the weather conditions looking like for the weekend?

Well, Conn-young. Murky skies are covering most parts of the nation tonight. This is due to high concentrations of fine dust and layers of patchy fog from yesterday’s rain. Fine dust concentrations in the capital tonight are as high as 50 micrograms, which is about twice the average levels. Western parts of central regions will have fine dust levels standing at ‘bad’ through tomorrow.

Inland regions will stay under overcast skies. But mountainous areas of the east coast will see up to 30 centimeters of snow. Southern parts of the nation will have showers instead. Jeju Island will receive up to 60 millimeters, while southern and eastern coasts will have 10 to 40 millimeters in store through Sunday.

Morning temperatures will be similar to today's. Lows in Seoul will start off at 4 degrees Celsius.

Cloudy and rainy spells will continue through the daytime. Seoul, Daegu and Gyeongju will reach 10 degrees.

Readings will continue to stay fairly mild, hovering around the seasonal norms for the weekend and thereafter.

Due to the combination of fog and fine dust, visibility is especially low tonight. If you must drive, please do so with extreme caution.
