South Korea and the United States have resumed their negotiations on defense cost-sharing, which have been stalled for months.
In a virtual meeting on Monday, Seoul's chief negotiator Jeong Eun-bo and his American counterpart Donna Welton from the State Department agreed to work together closely to reach, as soon as possible, an agreement that is equitable and acceptable to both sides.
These were the first official talks between Seoul and Washington over cost-sharing since the U.S. Presidential election on November 3rd.
