U.S. President Donald Trump said that he will make deals with North Korea and Iran "very quickly" if he gets reelected in the upcoming November Presidential elections.
The remarks were made at a press conference in New Jersey on Friday local time.
Trump also reiterated that if he wasn't elected as President in 2016, the U.S. and North Korea could have been at war.
Denuclearization talks between Washington and Pyeongyang have been stalled since the Hanoi summit last year, and tensions have escalated again since North Korea resumed its missile activities in early July.
Friction between the U.S. and Iran has continued to increase following the Trump administration's exit from the 2015 Nuclear Deal in 2018.
