South Korea's consumer prices rose in July for the first time in three months, but the increase was barely above zero.
According to Statistics Korea, last month's consumer price index rose to one-hundred-four.eight-six, up point-three percent from a year earlier.
The prices of meat, fish and fresh produce rose six.four percent, while petroleum products fell ten.two percent.
The agency attributes weak inflationary pressure to low global oil prices and as restaurants didn't raise prices due to the pandemic.
