North Korea's state media reported earlier this morning that the regime had tested a "super-large multiple rocket launcher" early Tuesday and that it was supervised by its leader Kim Jong-un.
Contrary to the last time it test-fired such projectiles and announced the launches, the state media did not call the firings a "success."
It's raising the possibility that some of the projectiles launched yesterday may have failed to strike their targets.
The North Korean leader reportedly said the launches of two projectiles on Tuesday have helped them verify the technical parameters of their new missile system and now they only need to test its multiple firing system.
Observers say this could mean there are additional launches coming up in the next few days and weeks.
