A Washington think tank has revealed a previously undisclosed missile launch site in North Korea.
The Center for Strategic and International Studies reported on Friday details about the Geumcheon-ri ballistic missile operations facility, one of an estimated 20 undeclared missile facilities in the North.
The report claims the facility stores short-range missiles capable of hitting anywhere on the South Korean mainland, and medium-range missiles capable of reaching Japan.
This operating base is located 165 kilometers northeast of Seoul.
CSIS said the facilities would need to be subject to declaration, verification and dismantlement in any deal involving the North's final fully verifiable denuclearization.
