Sweden has officially announced that it's going to seek membership in NATO, citing Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
On Monday, just a day after Finland announced the same decision, Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson told Swedes to brace for certain impacts as Sweden will be in a vulnerable position during the application process.
Russian President Vladimir Putin appears relatively unmoved so far, saying this poses no direct threat to Russia.
However, he warned that if they host any military infrastructure for NATO, Moscow will respond but he did not elaborate.
