Seoul city makes plans to reduce impact of summer heat wave

As part of preparations for the sweltering summer season Seoul city officials have shared support plans for the less priviledged.
They include electric fans to 16-thousand households and nearly 80 U.S. dollars for 1-thousand households to help with air-conditioning costs.
The city will also seek to limit outdoor working hours for street cleaners and will water roads frequently to ease the urban heat island phenomenon.
Seoul will also provide Ozone forecasts twice a day for six months until October and inspect 740 businesses that dispose of volatile organic compounds which are the main causes of Ozone.
