South Korea's first vice foreign minister Choi Jong-kun and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman have once again reaffirmed an openness to manage stability on the Korean Peninsula by any means and to resume dialogue with North Korea at an early date.
According to Seoul's foreign ministry on Wednesday, during phone talks the two officials shared their assessments of Pyeongyang's latest missile launches.
The State Department also said that Sherman condemned the regime for violating multiple UN Security Council resolutions.
The North has staged four missile launches just this month alone.
