North Korea says it conducted test-firings of two tactical guided missiles on Monday to "selectively censor and verify the accuracy of" its weapons system.
Based on state media reports, the projectiles launched toward the East Sea appear to be KN-24s, the North Korean version of a U.S. army tactical missile system.
The regime added both missiles hit an island target with precision.
Kim Jong-un was not present at the launch.
