South Korea's major economic indicators are showing signs of a slowdown as the fourth wave of the virus continues to take a heavy toll.
In its monthly economic report Friday, the Finance Ministry said that while the country has seen a sharp increase in employment and export growth, uncertainties remain, especially in the in-person service industry.
It also raised concerns over inflationary pressures due to supply chain disruption and a spike in raw material costs, adding this may hamper the global economic recovery.
