President Moon Jae-in gets COVID-19 booster shot

President Moon Jae-in got his booster shot this morning an additional dose of the coronavirus vaccine from Pfizer.
This week, South Korea starting giving booster shots to people aged 60 and over and to medical workers who were vaccinated more than six months ago.
President Moon got his initial doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine on March 23rd and April 30th.
According to the Blue House, a few hours after the shot, President Moon said he was able to go ahead with his schedule as planned, and that he didn't feel much strain on his body.
The president added that he hopes people continue to get vaccinated.
Moon's booster shot comes ahead of a planned trip overseas at the end of October.
