Despite the local economy shrinking last year amid COVID-19, South Korea's growth rate still ranked third among the world's major economies.
South Korea's economy shrank one percent last year.
However, according to the OECD, that contraction was the third smallest out of 15 major economic powerhouses.
China performed best with a two.three percent growth, followed by Norway with a zero.eight percent contraction.
Spain showed the worst performance, with its economy shrinking by 11 percent.
