The Dow Jones was up over 200-points to 26,870.
The S&P 500 was up about a percent and the NASDAQ, about half-a-percent to close at 10-thousand 550.
Oil prices hit a 4-month high, as U.S. crude supply logged its biggest drop of the year, and as the OPEC-PLUS committee agreed to taper record production cuts starting next month.
Brent crude was up above one-and-a-half-percent and WTI, too was up over same percentage amount to settle at 41-dollars a barrel.
