The Youth G-20 Low Carbon, Green Growth Forum

The "2010 International Youth G20 Low Carbon, Green Growth Forum" opened, encouraging active participation and correct understanding of sustainable environmental practices among youths. Thirty-six young people from South Korea and other countries participated, showing an interest in the G20 Summit as well as environmental and green growth issues.

The forum's young participants went out to raise awareness of the upcoming G20 Seoul Summit, to be held in November of this year, and share various green policies and life practices with others.

In addition to their creative green growth campaigning, the youths made lasting friendships with one another through various group activities such as visiting a traditional Korean village. Look and see how this meeting of youths open up a new chapter of low carbon, green growth awareness.

The Future of Korea's Four Major Rivers - A Lesson From Japan's Tama River

Japan, a country stricken with yearly large-scale storm and flood damage.
