Professional Highlight
Paul Schenk is currently the Director of Food and Beverage of the two Intercontinental Hotels in Seoul. Grand Intercontinental Seoul and COEX Intercontinental Seoul. Paul is a native of Australia and started cooking full time at the age of 16. Previously to this Paul was the Director of Kitchens for the two hotels and started as the Executive Chef of the COEX Intercontinental in October 2004. During this time he has travelled Korea from top to bottom following his passion for food, life experiences and culture. As a result of his depth of knowledge of food, cooking and Korea he is well regarded for his knowledge and passion to promote Korea and its food culture. Paul’s professional highlight in Korea was travelling to Dubai with his Black Box team to the world finals in 2008. The team won 1st place.
